Santa Cruz de Tenerife (EFE).- The National Deputy (CC) of the Canary Coalition, Ana Oramas, announced this Friday that she has decided to return to regional politics, adding that the condition she has set for this is to stay, and thus in the general elections. Don’t be a candidate again.
Ana Oramas, who was the regional deputy and mayor of La Laguna, said in Radio Club Tenerife that in these “so difficult” times that the Canary Islands are coming and the country has decided to contribute more to its land. regional level
Ana Oramas acknowledged that it is as important to contribute to regional politics as to the national level, and indicated that both the secretary general of her party, Fernando Clavijo, and the island party, Francisco Linares, have asked if they can count on her. “And I told them yes.”
He assured that he would not consider being in the executive position or being a candidate for the Cabildo de Tenerife but would “return” to regional politics in the Parliament of the Canary Islands and “I have only stipulated that if I come it must stay”, because, he added, “I “I will not come and then” participate in the general elections.
Ana Oramas is confident that she has much to contribute to the team her team is assembling and that Sisi has the opportunity to once again lead the main institutions of the Canary Islands and the autonomous communities.
But, he stressed, the important thing is “not winning the election” but “having the best team to win the next one and help the Canary Islands”. EFE
