Valencia, September 21 (EFE).- The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has set up a yellow alert this Wednesday for rain that could accumulate up to 30 liters per square meter in one hour and for storms that could include hail in the provinces. Alicante and within Valencia and Castellon.
In particular, in the interior of the province of Castellon, the yellow warning will start today at 2 pm due to rain that can accumulate 20 liters per square meter in one hour – they can reach 30 on time – and hail due to possible storms.
In the province of Valencia, the yellow warning will be in force from two o’clock in the afternoon due to storms with hail and rain in the interior of the north that can accumulate 30 liters in one hour and from five o’clock rain is expected in the area of 20 liters, although the intensity may reach 30 in time.
There will also be a yellow warning for the rest of Valencia province from 5pm, both for rainfall that could exceed 20 liters per square meter in one hour – 30 at times – and for storms with possible hail.
In the province of Alicante, a yellow warning will be in force from 5pm both on the coast and inland for rainfall of up to 20 liters per square meter in one hour – 30 liters at times – and storms with hail.
