Madrid, September 21 (EFE) .- Rainfall of up to 35 liters per square meter per hour in the Balearic Islands and storms, sometimes with hail, have issued yellow warnings to seven communities this Wednesday, mostly in the southern half of the peninsula.

According to the website of the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet), in Andalusia there is a yellow warning (risk) due to storms in all provinces except Almeria, and the same applies to Extremadura, where the possibility of rain with hail is not ruled out.

In Aragon, storms with up to 20 liters per square meter of rain and hail have been announced in the province of Teruel, while in the Balearic Islands Ibiza and Formentera are expected to see heavy rain with showers in the late afternoon.

Rainfall of 15 to 20 liters per square meter per hour in Castilla-La Mancha and warning for possible storms in Albacete, Ciudad Real, Cuenca and Toledo provinces.

Tarragona (Catalonia) also announced storms and storms at the end of the day, while in the Valencian community a yellow alert has been activated for rain of up to 30 liters per square meter inside the province of Valencia and storms with hail across vulnerable areas.
