Madrid, September 21 (EFE).- The Minister of Labor, Yolanda Díaz, confirmed the regularization of more than 10,600 workers of the Glovo delivery company and explained that the labor inspection worked against this company with a fine of almost millionaires. 79 million euros for violations of the labor rights of employees.

“We have faced some false self-employment and the burden of the law is going to fall on this company because it falls with the labor inspection,” he said on the corridors of Congress after confirming that Glovo had been fined around 79 million euros. .

Diaz described Glovo’s performance as “very serious”.

Díaz explained that Glovo acted in a “very serious” manner in two respects, violating labor rights and obstructing the work of labor inspections: “And this is very serious in a social, democratic and legal state, where companies must obey the law.”

“And for this reason, measures have been taken against this company, more than 10,600 workers have been regularized and reached around 79 million euros with very high fines,” he stressed.

Diaz added that “the law applies to everyone and from the Ministry of Labor we will not stop and we will abide by the law.”
