Manueco: “Castilla y Leon motor land”
Valladolid, September 19 (EFE).- The group of companies that make up the Castilla y León Automotive Forum (FACIL) presented this Monday the new brand with which they want to better position themselves in the transitional process that the sector is going through, under the name of the Automotive Pole, which the board Celebrated by chairman Alfonso Fernández Manueco: “Castilla y León motor land”.
In an act held at the Iveco facilities in Valladolid, both Manueco and the president of the group of companies associated with this new brand, Félix Cano, highlighted that the new logo adds to the spirit of these manufacturers and the autonomous community. A beehive with nine spaces represents the nine provinces and how bees work cooperatively.
Also, as a symbol of the energy transition the sector is going through, the new logo includes a plug to symbolize the path towards electrification of the automotive sector, although the chairman of the board has requested a “fair and sensible” change. In this sense, Maueko reiterated his call to “not make the same mistakes” and to enter a “new dynamic” with cooperation between public institutions and the private sector at a critical moment like the present, which can be characterized by European aid. According to him, the same situation will be lost if not adapted to the needs of the sector.
Automotive Table, in October
The President announced that the Castilla y León Automotive Roundtable will be convened next October to address the challenges facing this key sector in industry, economic activity and employment, with representatives of major companies and social dialogue.

For his part, the president of the Automotive Pole, Felix Cano, acknowledged that this is a “special day” for this group of companies, conspired to promote the activities of all of them and include new investment and business opportunities, well ‘Hive’, businesses within the sector. But this new move by the Cano Group has also set as its objective the retention of talent originating from Castilla y León and the attraction of people from outside the community, from the point of view that they understand that the region is one of the best.
